Reflection time
we're all about efficiency, so let's get right into it...

Optimization is a never ending game of ruthless prioritization - it pays to constantly be reevaluating what is working, what your goals are, and communicating that with others, especially when you have the opportunity to lean into flexibility.
Donât build yourself a prison - especially in the web3 space, there is so much room to reinvent rules and challenge assumptions, it can be easy to fall into the trap of doing what you think you should be doing, and much harder to continue to ask yourself why
Ambiguity can be a blessing and a curse - when properly structured and tested, you have unlimited space for experimentation and play, especially when no one is watching (the benefits of building an audience from scratch), the hard part is avoiding vanity metrics and pursuing goals that are squishier
Weâre still so early - web3 tools are in their nascent stages and require experimentation, breaking, and people chasing their curiosity to find the moments of delight that make our tech special. Weâre not there yet, and itâs difficult to feel like youâre straddling two different worlds at once
Burnout is lethal - taking the necessary time and space both mentally and physically from the day to day can make the big picture so much clearer, and the pursuit of balance can help regulate emotions, and stay proactive amidst market and morale fluctuations
More is not better - it can be tempting to want to do it all, but doing a few things well, or being consistent with the actions that will have an outsized impact can run circles around a strategy that is stretched thin across too many things. The internet is abundant, and time is precious - spend it wisely

Planning without execution is a dead end- It's beautiful, fun, and ambitious but goes to waste without just doing it (which is harder). Balance of the two is essential. LDF and I love planning and strategizing so we've been enabling each other a bit too much there. oops
Having a âgiving mindsetâ is imminent- Don't expect listeners/audience to give you anything, not even a poll answer. You should create for the sake of creating and giving value to them, without anything in return. All forms of proactive participation are a gift and should be honored
Narrowing the scope- Creating lil quests or treasure hunts is useful and actionable way to filter out active, eager participants, and give more to them. It's not a way to build larger audiences, it's great to decrease noise, segment the audience and create lil pockets of interest
Always have your goal in mind with your voice, like you would with a product- What is your net value accrual? Is it subscribers, reach, impressions, having fun or building a narrative around yourself? It could be anything just keep it in mind, always
Sometimes the process is the successful result- Post about the process don't postpone til you have a solid result. It's a lot more relatable, perfection is impossible anyway and not everyone will see every piece of content you put out anyway. It's not boring I promise there is people out there who would enjoy lil snippets the most, and there are the ones who enjoy the summary. How do you think recap videos are made that do well? By capturing the whole process and summarizing it
CHAOS
Content Creation is HARD
Compile list of components and hone in on a few of them first (esp if youâre not doing this full-time), pick the ones that are the most natural to you and are closest to your goals so you can stay more consistent
Co-creation makes the work feel more like fun
Complimentary skills and tasks make the burden feel much less real
Donât overlook your early supporters (you donât always need to go for volume, especially if youâre not monetizing right away)
cherish smaller groups that can go silent for a while and can be re-ignited later when it feels right
Having it all means having nothing / Done is better than perfect
Comparing yourself to full-time content creators is a trap
The bar for quality is lower in web3, and timing is more important (content becomes stale quickly)
Above all, our goal for 2023 remains: MORE CHAOS
